La Musicale des Gaves is a music association based in Peyrehorade whose mission is to make people feel music, introduce them to it, and spread it. To finance its music education activities and make them accessible to all ages, the association organizes a large car boot sale every year in the heart of the bastide.

A car boot sale in the heart of Peyrehorade

The event takes place at the Salle d'Aspremont and in the surrounding streets, notably the Allée des Évadés. Exhibitors set up indoors and outdoors, offering various objects, clothes, crockery, books, and trinkets. The setting of the Peyrehorade bastide, with its arcaded houses and medieval alleys, adds a special charm to this day of treasure hunting.

Music and conviviality

La Musicale des Gaves naturally puts music in the spotlight during its car boot sale. Refreshments and food are provided by the members and volunteers of the association. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, in the tradition of popular events in the Pays des Gaves landais.
