About Ris-Orangis Flea Market
Every summer, Ris-Orangis Town Hall organises its municipal flea market through the Service Vie des Quartiers. Between 150 and 200 private sellers fill the avenues of the town centre for a popular day of bargain hunting. Fee: €6/2 linear metres or €10/4 linear metres. Prior registration required at 34 rue de la Fontaine. Free entry for visitors.
Ris-Orangis, a changing southern suburb
Ris-Orangis is an Essonne commune of around 28,000 inhabitants, in the southern inner suburbs of Greater Paris, along RER D. A former industrial town, it has transformed into a mixed residential community. Close to Évry-Courcouronnes and the vast Sénart regional forest (3,200 hectares), it offers a blend of urban convenience and natural surroundings.
