The Lous Pibalous association of Capbreton organizes a large car boot sale every September on the market square, behind the town hall. With around 200 exhibitors, it is one of the most important and renowned flea market events on the southern coast of the Landes, attracting passionate visitors and bargain hunters from Bayonne to Mimizan and even beyond. The event has become a must-attend gathering for the start of the Capbreton season.

The Capbreton market square, located behind the town hall, offers a vast and perfectly arranged space to accommodate the 200 exhibitors of the car boot sale in optimal conditions. The sellers, exclusively individuals, set up their stalls from 6 am for a full day of bargain hunting until 6 pm. The pitch is offered at an affordable rate of €4.50 per linear meter, with the option to rent 2-meter tables for an additional €3. This square, usually dedicated to the Capbreton covered market, is perfectly suited for this major event thanks to its easy access and nearby parking facilities.
