Monthly car boot sale organized by the merchants association at 31 rue de la Poste in Lohéac, the automobile village
The Lohéac Merchants Association organizes a monthly car boot sale at 31 rue de la Poste, in the heart of the town. Each month, private exhibitors set up their stalls to offer clothing, toys, trinkets, tableware, books, vinyl records, small furniture, and various second-hand items. This monthly regularity makes it a regular event for bargain hunters in the region, who return month after month to discover new finds. The atmosphere is that of a village flea market, friendly and authentic.
Lohéac is a small village of about 700 inhabitants located south of Ille-et-Vilaine, between Redon and Rennes. The village is world-renowned among motorsport enthusiasts thanks to the Manoir de l'Automobile, an exceptional museum housing over 400 vintage vehicles, and the rallycross circuit which hosts national and international events. This unique heritage gives Lohéac a reputation that extends far beyond the borders of Brittany. The town center also retains its rural charm with its schist houses and medieval church.
The monthly car boot sale in Lohéac offers an ideal outing for families and enthusiasts. After bargain hunting, visitors can discover the Manoir de l'Automobile, just a short walk from rue de la Poste. Entry to the car boot sale is free.
