The May 1st car boot sale in Roybon, between Chambaran and the forest
Every May 1st, the traditional Labor Day holiday, Roybon celebrates spring with its Vide-Greniers du Muguet. Located on the Place du Maquis de Chambaran and in the adjacent village hall, this event brings together about sixty exhibitors in a warm, village atmosphere.
The unique feature of the Vide-Greniers du Muguet is that it offers both outdoor pitches in the square and indoor stands in the village hall, allowing exhibitors and visitors to enjoy the event regardless of the weather. You'll find the usual car boot sale items: clothing, toys, crockery, books, trinkets, and decorative objects, all at bargain prices.
Roybon is a small town in the Bièvre region, nestled at the gates of the Chambaran forest and the Drôme des Collines plateau. This characterful village, known for its natural and forest heritage, offers a pleasant setting for this day of treasure hunting. The Roybon en Fêtes festival committee, organizer of the event, livens up the town throughout the year with various popular events.
