The May 8th Car Boot Sale in Chitenay

Every year on May 8th, the Chitenay-Cellettes supporters club organizes its big car boot sale at the Stade des Étangs Frileux. This sporting and popular event brings together between 100 and 200 private exhibitors in a green and shaded setting.

A pleasant outdoor setting

The Stade des Étangs Frileux offers a spacious and green area, ideal for an outdoor car boot sale. Exhibitors set up from 6 am to display their stalls of bric-a-brac, toys, clothes, and small furniture. Visitors are welcomed from 7 am.

Chitenay, between Blois and Cheverny

Chitenay is a residential village located between Blois and Cheverny, in a landscape of vineyards and Sologne forests. Pitches are offered at €2.50 per linear meter, without reservation, on a first-come, first-served basis. Refreshments and food available on site.

The Stade des Étangs Frileux

The Stade des Étangs Frileux is a sports and leisure area located at the entrance of Chitenay. Its vast grassy area and shaded surroundings make it an ideal place to host a large-scale car boot sale. Exhibitors can park their vehicles directly behind their pitch, which greatly facilitates the loading and unloading of items for sale.

The Chitenay-Cellettes Supporters Club

The Chitenay-Cellettes supporters club organizes this car boot sale to fund the activities of the local sports club. Volunteers ensure the welcome of exhibitors from 6 am, the management of pitches, and the refreshment and food services. Grills, sandwiches, and drinks offered throughout the day contribute to the festive atmosphere of the event. Profits are donated to the sports teams of Chitenay and Cellettes.
