The spring car boot sale organized by the Cœur d'Éveil association
Every year in March, the Cœur d'Éveil association organizes a car boot sale in the village of Têche, a small commune in Isère with about 500 inhabitants located between Vinay and Saint-Marcellin, in the heart of southern Grésivaudan. This spring event marks the beginning of the flea market season in this rural area of Isère.
Cœur d'Éveil is a local association that organizes this car boot sale in a spirit of sharing and conviviality. The profits from the event help to finance the association's activities for the benefit of the local community. Volunteers ensure the welcome of exhibitors and provide fast food on site.
Têche is a discreet village in the Isère valley, nestled in a landscape of hills and orchards. Located near Vinay and a few kilometers from Saint-Marcellin, famous for its cheese, the village offers a bucolic setting for this day of treasure hunting. The car boot sale is held at 575 rue du bourg, in the heart of the village.
The Têche car boot sale is a human-sized event, typical of the village gatherings that make the charm of the Isère countryside. Private exhibitors offer their second-hand items: clothing, crockery, toys, books, trinkets, and all sorts of little finds. The atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed, conducive to friendly discussions and negotiations.
