8 May car boot sale organized by the association Vivre à Cerny
Every May 8th, the association Vivre à Cerny organizes a car boot sale in the commune of Cerny-lès-Bucy, a village located a few kilometers south of Laon. From 6 am to 5 pm, exhibitors offer their second-hand items to bargain hunters from the Laonnois region.
Exhibitors must register before May 4th to secure their spot, at a rate of 1 euro per linear meter. This advance organization allows the association to best prepare the event and ensure a well-ordered setup in the village streets.
Cerny-lès-Bucy is a small commune in the Laonnois region, part of the canton of Laon. Its rural setting and proximity to the prefecture of Aisne make it a desirable place to live. The May 8th car boot sale is one of the highlights of local community life, driven by the association Vivre à Cerny, which works to foster animation and social connection in the village.
