Grand summer car boot sale in Saint-Coulomb with 300 exhibitors, near Saint-Malo
The Vide-grenier de la Ville Bague is the major summer event in Saint-Coulomb. Every first Saturday in August, around 300 private exhibitors take over the vast Ville Bague grounds to offer a considerable selection of second-hand items: clothing, toys, tableware, books, trinkets, garden furniture, and flea market objects of all kinds. The scale of the event and the quality of the finds make it one of the most reputable car boot sales in the Pays Malouin.
Saint-Coulomb is a coastal municipality of about 2,800 inhabitants located between Saint-Malo and Cancale. Its preserved coastline offers magnificent beaches such as the Anse du Guesclin, dominated by the famous fort of the same name, and the Pointe du Meinga with its spectacular panoramas of the Bay of Mont-Saint-Michel. The village retains its Breton rural character with its malouinières, those residences of privateers and shipowners that bear witness to the past prosperity of the Pays Malouin.
The Saint-Coulomb festival committee provides on-site catering throughout the day. Admission is free for visitors. Registration is done at the town hall during opening hours, subject to availability. Parking is organized around the grounds.
