Annual May 8th car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural de Versainville, near the town hall
Every May 8th, the Foyer Rural de Versainville organizes an outdoor car boot sale in this small commune in the Falaise countryside. The event is held near the town hall and the school, at 1 rue Neuve, offering an authentic village setting for this day of treasure hunting.
Versainville is a discreet village in Calvados, located a few kilometers north of Falaise, the city of William the Conqueror. The commune is situated at the edge of the Caen plain and the Norman bocage, in a landscape of meadows and orchards. The Mesnil-Soleil hillside, a protected natural site nearby, testifies to the ecological richness of this territory.
The Foyer Rural offers a particularly advantageous rate for exhibitors: the first 2 meters are free, and each additional meter is charged only €1. This modest rate allows everyone to participate easily and encourages the reuse of second-hand items.
The volunteers of the Foyer Rural provide a food service on site throughout the day. Entry is free for visitors. It's the ideal opportunity to take advantage of the public holiday to hunt for treasures in the Norman countryside, between bocage and historical heritage.
From Falaise, take the D658 towards Caen and follow the direction Versainville (approximately 5 minutes). From Caen, take the N158 then the D658 towards Falaise.
Free parking in the village streets.
