Saint-Philbert-sur-Risle is a Norman village in the Eure located in the Risle valley, between Pont-Audemer and Brionne. The Risle is one of the most beautiful rivers in Normandy, known for its fast-flowing waters populated by trout and its banks lined with alder and willow trees. From Pont-Audemer (27500), take the D38 southeast along the Risle towards Brionne; Saint-Philbert-sur-Risle is about 15 km away. From Brionne, take the D38 northwest.
