August 15th Car boot sale organized by the Association des Petites Graines, route de Fontaine-Française
Every August 15th, Assumption Day, the Association des Petites Graines of Sacquenay organizes a friendly car boot sale route de Fontaine-Française. The event welcomes between 50 and 100 private sellers in this village in the north of Côte-d'Or, on the border of Haute-Saône.
The Sacquenay car boot sale stands out with its attractive offer: the first 5 meters are free for each seller, with a rate of 1 euro per additional meter. This policy encourages the participation of individuals wishing to take advantage of the public holiday to sell their unused items. Stalls open as early as 6:30 AM for early bird bargain hunters.
Sacquenay is a village located northeast of Côte-d'Or, near Fontaine-Française and the border with Haute-Saône. This rural area, marked by the Vingeanne valley, offers a bucolic setting for this August 15th treasure hunt. The buffet and refreshment stand offered by the association nicely complement the visit.
