Car boot sale of Roumens

On Sunday, October 6, 2024, the village of Roumens hosted the annual car boot sale organized by the Foyer de Roumens. Private sellers set up their stalls in this rural setting of Lauragais, offering visitors a variety of second-hand items at low prices.

Treasure hunters from surrounding communes took advantage of this autumn day to browse the stands, looking for bargains among clothes, toys, trinkets, and various items. The refreshment stand run by the Foyer's volunteers allowed visitors to eat and drink in a friendly village atmosphere, at the foot of Roumens' 18th-century castle and church.
