Autumn car boot sale in the village of Ronno, in the heart of Haut-Beaujolais
Every September, the inhabitants of Ronno and the surrounding area set up their stalls for the traditional autumn car boot sale. It is the perfect opportunity to clear attics and cellars before winter and find good deals at low prices: clothing of all sizes, old and new toys, books and comics, crockery, tools, ornaments and decorative objects. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, in keeping with the villages of the Haut-Beaujolais where neighbourly solidarity is paramount.
Ronno is a small village in the Haut-Beaujolais, in the north of the Rhône department, at the junction between the Beaujolais hills and the Saône plain. The village of a few hundred inhabitants sits in a landscape of hills covered in forests and meadows, far from the urban hustle. The region is known for its wines, hiking trails and preserved rural heritage. The car boot sale fits perfectly into the associative and festive life of this appealing territory.
Ronno is accessible via the D64 from Thizy-les-Bourgs and the D504 from Cours-la-Ville. Parking on site or in the village streets. The commune is about 15 km from Roanne and 60 km from Lyon.
