The Villeurbanne spring jumble sale is one of the must-attend events in the city's festive and community calendar. Since its first edition in 2013, it has brought together hundreds of sellers and thousands of visitors from Villeurbanne, Lyon and across the Lyon metropolitan area each year. This popular event offers a wide range of second-hand items: clothing for adults and children, toys, board games, books, vinyl records, crockery, tools, furniture, trinkets, cameras, second-hand electronics and decorative objects. The 14th edition in 2026 promises to be a celebratory one, with entertainment and a festive atmosphere befitting this event that is now firmly established in Villeurbanne tradition.

Villeurbanne is a fully fledged city of around 150,000 inhabitants, the 2nd city of the Rhône and one of the largest communes in France.
