Car boot sale and hangar clear-out in Warvègues, commune of Plouaret, in the heart of Trégor
Every August, the hamlet of Warvègues, in the commune of Plouaret, hosts an original car boot sale combining hangar clear-out and classic car boot sale. Exhibitors set up in agricultural hangars and outdoor spaces to offer bargain hunters a wide selection of items: furniture, tools, crockery, clothing, toys, and curiosities of all kinds.
Plouaret is a commune of over 2,000 inhabitants located in the heart of inland Trégor, in Côtes-d'Armor. Historically known as an important railway junction on the Paris-Brest line, the commune benefits from a central geographical location between Lannion, Guingamp, and Morlaix. The surrounding hedged and hilly landscape, dotted with farms and hamlets, offers an authentically Breton setting.
The rural setting of Warvègues gives this car boot sale a special charm. Far from supermarket car parks, bargain hunters wander between hangars and stalls set up outdoors, in a relaxed and bucolic atmosphere typical of the inland Breton countryside.
