The Cavan Car Boot Sale: A Quarter Century of Tradition

For 25 editions, the Cavan car boot sale has become an unmissable summer event in the Lannion and Trégor region. Jointly organized by the Club de l'Amitié de Cavan and JSC (Jeunesse Sportive de Cavan), it takes place in the parking lot of the salle polyvalente, esplanade Pierre-Yvon Trémel, in the heart of this rural commune in Côtes-d'Armor.

100 to 200 Exhibitors in a Rural Atmosphere

Each edition brings together between 100 and 200 exhibitors, including individuals and professionals. The stalls offer a wide range of items: clothing, toys, tableware, furniture, trinkets, books, tools, vinyl records, and curiosities of all kinds. The outdoor space of the multi-purpose hall's parking lot provides an airy and pleasant setting for bargain hunting, with views of the Trégor countryside.

The Spirit of Community and Friendliness

The joint organization by two local associations—the Club de l'Amitié, which brings together the village elders, and JSC, a youth sports association—gives the Cavan car boot sale an intergenerational and warm dimension. Volunteers welcome exhibitors from 6 a.m. with free coffee, immediately establishing a friendly atmosphere. The refreshment stand and on-site catering allow for a pleasant day out with family or friends.
