About Jussieu Car Boot Sale
Every first Sunday of the month, Brocante & Compagnie organises a large car boot sale on Rue des Fossés Saint-Bernard and Place Jussieu, opposite the Arab World Institute. With 100 to 200 sellers from 6am to 6pm, this monthly event is one of the largest in the 5th arrondissement. Private sellers and brocanteurs offer a wide variety of items in a university setting, between the Seine and the Jardin des Plantes.

Brocante & Compagnie has been running this car boot sale for years on Rue des Fossés Saint-Bernard and Place Jussieu, every first Sunday of the month. In 2026: 4 Jan, 1 Feb, 1 Mar, 5 Apr, 3 May, 7 Jun, 5 Jul, 6 Sep, 4 Oct, 1 Nov, 6 Dec, from 6am to 6pm.
An average of 150 sellers
With 100 to 200 sellers, this is one of the busiest sales in the 5th arrondissement. Items include clothing, toys, books, vinyls and CDs, curios, tableware, small furniture and decorative objects. Pitch: €20/m (min 2m).
A university and heritage setting
The Arab World Institute designed by Jean Nouvel, the Jussieu campus, the Jardin des Plantes and the Paris Grand Mosque are all nearby.
