Weekly professional brocante in the Marais, near the City Hall
Every Saturday of the year, the discreet Rue des Nonnains-d'Hyères in the 4th arrondissement turns into a hunting ground for Parisian antique dealers. A few steps from the Hôtel de Ville, this weekly brocante offers a regular meeting place for lovers of fine antique pieces.
Unlike amateur boot sales, this brocante brings together only professional traders: antique dealers, brocanteurs and vintage specialists. Stalls offer a curated selection of 18th and 19th century furniture, curios, paintings and prints, silverware, porcelain, antique clocks, rare books and Art Deco decor.
The Marais is historically one of the richest districts in Paris for antique galleries. Narrow medieval streets, 17th century mansions and paved courtyards have housed merchants and collectors for decades.
To make the most of this weekly brocante, arrive early in the morning from 6am to have the pick of the finest pieces. Don't hesitate to negotiate the prices displayed.
