Back-to-school flea market and car boot sale on the lawn of the Lorignac village hall
Every year in September, the Lorignac Festival Committee organizes its traditional back-to-school car boot sale on the lawn of the village hall. This popular event attracts bargain hunters from all over Haute Saintonge and northern Gironde for a day of good deals and conviviality.
Lorignac is a small rural commune in Charente-Maritime, located between Montendre and Mirambeau, in the rolling landscape of Haute Saintonge. This peaceful village, surrounded by vineyards and forests, offers an ideal rural setting for a flea market day. The spacious and shaded lawn of the village hall is a perfect location to host the exhibitors' stalls.
One of the particularities of this car boot sale is its exceptionally low exhibitor rate: €1 per linear meter, with one meter offered free to Lorignac residents. Artisans and traders benefit from a flat rate of €20 including electricity. These accessible prices attract many exhibitors, both individuals and professionals, and guarantee a diverse offering for visitors.
The Festival Committee provides refreshments and on-site catering, allowing visitors to eat throughout the day. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, with free parking making access easy. From 6 am to 7 pm, everyone can find something to their liking among the crockery, second-hand clothes, toys, trinkets, tools, and small furniture offered by the exhibitors.
Lorignac is located on the D730 between Montendre and Mirambeau. The village hall is accessible from the village center. Follow the signs on the day of the event.
