Annual car boot sale organized by the Foyer Rural de Chazeuil, during the village's patronal festival
The Foyer Rural de Chazeuil organizes a car boot sale every summer on the occasion of the village's patronal festival. This annual event, rooted in local life, brings together the inhabitants of this small village of 187 souls and bargain hunters from the neighboring towns of Sacquenay, Véronnes and Selongey.
Chazeuil is a rural village located in the northeast of Côte-d'Or, about 31 kilometers from Dijon, in the community of communes Tille et Venelle. This area of plains and hills, crossed by small streams, offers a rustic and peaceful setting for a summer day of bargain hunting. The modest but authentic rural heritage of the village adds to the charm of the event.
The Foyer Rural de Chazeuil is the driving force behind the associative life of this small village. The car boot sale, organized for many years during the patronal festival, is one of the highlights of the year. Volunteers provide refreshments and food, making this day a moment of meeting and conviviality between neighbors and passing visitors.
