Levallois' neighbourhood flea markets: a district-by-district programme

For several years, the City of Levallois-Perret has organised an annual cycle of flea markets across its neighbourhoods. Each district gets its own day, letting residents sell near home and visitors stroll familiar streets turned into giant markets. The Jean-Zay district is among the first of the summer cycle, scheduled in June.

The Jean-Zay quarter: between modernity and neighbourhood life

The Jean-Zay quarter is named after Jean Zay (1904–1944), Minister of Education and Fine Arts under the Front Populaire, a Republican figure and Resistance martyr. Place Jean-Zay, the heart of the quarter, is the natural epicentre of the flea market, with residential streets lined with private sellers offering knick-knacks, clothes, toys, books, furniture and everyday items.

A flea market exclusively for Levallois residents

Only Levallois-Perret residents may set up a stall, guaranteeing the authenticity of a genuine neighbourhood market. Registration opens online (www.ville-levallois.fr/videgreniers2026) from 15 April 2026. Around 300 sellers participate each year.
