3BC garage sale, a Vendée coast fixture

Each spring, the Brétignolles Brem Basket Club (3BC) holds its big annual garage sale in Brétignolles-sur-Mer, a Côte de Lumière resort between Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie and Les Sables-d'Olonne. 2026 date: Sunday 7 June, 8am-5:30pm, with about 100 sellers on and around the sports-complex parking, rue de la Gîte.

It's one of the town's flagship association events, bringing together locals from Brétignolles, Brem-sur-Mer and nearby villages, second-home owners, early holidaymakers and hunters from across Vendée. Stalls mix family bric-à-brac, toys, clothes, crockery, books, vinyl, small furniture, sports gear and beach items — a reflection of this seaside setting.
