Car boot sale of the Firefighters of Castelnaudary

On Sunday, June 1st, 2025, the Cours de la République in Castelnaudary buzzed with the annual car boot sale organized by the Amicale des Anciens Sapeurs-Pompiers de l'Aude. Many private exhibitors took over the sidewalks of the main avenue of the capital of Cassoulet to offer their second-hand items in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

The usual generosity of the organizers was reflected in a coffee offered to each exhibitor in the early morning, and the presence of a refreshment stand throughout the day. The pitches, charged at €10 for 7 linear meters, attracted many sellers eager to clear out their attics and support the local firefighters.

The Firefighters' Car boot sale of Castelnaudary will return in June 2026, still on the Cours de la République, for a new edition in the associative tradition of the Aude Lauragais.
