The Comité des fêtes des Islettes organizes a car boot sale every May 8th in the village streets, along the Chemin du Roy. From 6 am to 6 pm, exhibitors take over this village nestled in the heart of the Argonne forest for a day of treasure hunting, enhanced by musical entertainment and catering.

Les Islettes is historically famous for its earthenware factories, active from the 18th to the 19th century, whose productions are now sought after by collectors. The village also housed glassworks that exploited the wood resources of the Argonne forest.
