Edition 2025 — Vide-Grenier Les Baux-de-Provence

The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier des Baux-de-Provence was held in this spectacular perched village, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France since 1998 and nestled at an altitude of 245 meters in the heart of the Alpilles massif. Private exhibitors offered bargain hunters and visitors a wide selection of second-hand items, in the exceptional setting of this ancient medieval citadel. Between the Château des Baux and its panoramas of Provence, the Carrières de Lumières and their immersive exhibitions, and the Renaissance alleys of the village, visitors enjoyed a day of flea market hunting in one of the most remarkable sites in the Bouches-du-Rhône. Entry was free.

The 2025 edition of the Vide-Grenier des Baux-de-Provence animated this spectacular perched village in the Alpilles massif, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France since 1998 and awarded the Remarkable Site label in 2019. Nestled on a rocky spur at 245 meters altitude, the village offered an incomparable setting for this day of open-air bargain hunting.

Private exhibitors offered visitors a wide variety of second-hand items: tableware and earthenware, clothing, toys, books, vinyl records, small furniture, and various knick-knacks. Entry was free, and the friendly atmosphere of village car boot sales prevailed in the medieval alleys, dominated by the Château des Baux and its 13th-century keep.

Les Baux-de-Provence, a village of 262 inhabitants that welcomes over 1.5 million visitors each year, offered its bargain hunters the opportunity to discover exceptional heritage: the 12th-century Saint-Vincent church, partly troglodytic, the Carrières de Lumières with their immersive digital projections in the former limestone quarries of the Val d'Enfer, or the Musée Yves Brayer and the Musée des Santons. The village, where geologist Pierre Berthier discovered bauxite in 1821, blends medieval history, artistic heritage, and exceptional Provençal landscapes.
