Égreville is at the southern edge of Seine-et-Marne, on the Loiret border, in the natural region of Gâtinais. Bargain hunters can take the day to discover other Gâtinais Seine-et-Marne villages (Lorrez-le-Bocage-Préaux, Chevry-sous-le-Bignon, Nemours to the north), explore the Loing valley, or go as far as Montargis and its canal network. The Fontainebleau forest is about forty kilometers away to extend the getaway.
