Annual car boot sale in the village of Saint-Jeannet, Alpes-Maritimes
There is no edition scheduled in 2026 for this event. This page remains accessible to archive the history of the manifestation and will be updated if a new edition is announced.
Saint-Jeannet is a superb Provençal village perched at the foot of the Baou, an imposing 800-meter-high limestone cliff that is an internationally renowned climbing site. This charming village, with its stepped streets, stone houses with colorful facades, and squares shaded by century-old plane trees, offers an exceptional setting between the mountains and the Mediterranean. It is in this magnificent setting that the car boot sale takes place each year, taking over the village squares and alleyways for the delight of bargain hunters and panorama enthusiasts.
The Saint-Jeannet car boot sale is a highly anticipated highlight of local life, bringing together villagers and visitors from Nice, Vence, and surrounding areas. Private exhibitors offer a wide selection of second-hand items: vintage clothing, antique toys, old books, trinkets, decorative objects, and various curiosities. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere that prevails in the village, bathed in Provençal light, invites you to stroll among the stalls, haggle good-naturedly, and unearth original finds at the foot of the majestic Baou cliff.
The car boot sale is the perfect opportunity to discover Saint-Jeannet and its treasures. The ascent of the Baou, accessible by a marked trail, rewards hikers with a 360-degree panorama of the French Riviera, from the Esterel mountains to the Italian Alps. The village retains a remarkable heritage with its baroque church, ancient fountains, and renowned vineyards producing AOC Bellet wine. Climbing enthusiasts will find over 300 equipped routes on the Baou, making Saint-Jeannet a prime location for climbing in the Mediterranean.
2026 Edition not confirmed. At the time of our editorial verification (May 2026), we found no public source (organizer, town hall, flea market aggregator, local press) announcing an edition of the Vide-Grenier de Saint-Jeannet (by the Comité des Fêtes, in the village center) on June 1st, 2026. If you are the organizer and this flea market is indeed taking place, please do not hesitate to inform us via the event modification form.
The Vide-Grenier de Saint-Jeannet (06640), traditionally organized in the center of the perched village at the foot of the Baou by the Comité des Fêtes, could not be confirmed for 2026 as part of our editorial audit. No public announcement for 2026 could be cross-referenced in the flea market aggregators for the Alpes-Maritimes (Brocabrac, Vide-greniers.org, MyBrocante) or on regional calendars as of our verification date (May 2026).
Please note: another event is documented in Saint-Jeannet — the Grand Vide-Greniers of the Lions Club at the Stade des Baous — but the 2026 edition scheduled for June 7th, 2026 (8th edition) is explicitly cancelled according to vide-greniers.org. However, this is a distinct event (different organizer, different location, different date) from the flea market described here.
Interested bargain hunters and flea market vendors are invited to contact the Comité des Fêtes de Saint-Jeannet or the town hall directly (04 92 12 30 90) to confirm the dates before traveling.
