A flea market in the streets of a small town of character

Pontrieux is one of the Petites Cités de Caractère (Small Towns of Character) in Brittany, famous for its half-timbered houses, its flower-lined washhouses along the Trieux river, and its historic cobbled streets. Every summer, in early July, the downtown streets transform into a vast open-air treasure hunting space, from Place de la Liberté to Place Yves Le Troquer, offering an exceptional heritage setting for bargain hunters and strollers.

Les Déraillés du Trieux: a dynamic association

The association Les Déraillés du Trieux organizes this flea market with passion and energy. Since its creation, it has grown the event, which now attracts between 100 and 200 exhibitors, both individuals and professionals. The fee of 3.50 euros per linear meter remains affordable, and exhibitors benefit from a free coffee and on-site toilets. Setup begins at 6 am.

Treasure hunting along the Trieux

Pontrieux draws its charm from its river, the Trieux, whose peaceful waters flow through the town under pretty stone bridges. Visitors to the car boot sale can combine their morning of treasure hunting with a discovery of the famous washhouses of Pontrieux, accessible by boat or on foot along the banks. Between stands, a break in a café on the square or tasting artisanal kouign-amann completes this day of strolling in the Trégor region.
