The village car boot sale at the gates of Dax
The Mées car boot sale is held in this small commune in the Landes region, located at the gates of the Dax agglomeration. This annual event brings together individuals from the village and surrounding areas for a friendly day of treasure hunting. You'll find the classics of a car boot sale: tableware, trinkets, clothing, toys, and everyday items at low prices. The atmosphere is family-friendly and warm, typical of small village flea markets in the Landes.
Mées, a small village of about 1,800 inhabitants located a few kilometers south of Dax, organizes its car boot sale every year. This event, rooted in the tradition of Landes village flea markets, brings together residents and treasure hunters from the surrounding area for a day focused on conviviality and second-hand goods.
The Mées car boot sale mainly attracts residents from the village and the Dax agglomeration. The exhibitors, all individuals, offer treasures from their attics and cellars: old tableware, books, toys, clothes, garden tools, and various trinkets. Prices are modest, and bargaining is done in good spirits.
The commune of Mées is located in the Adour plain, between the湿地 barthes and the first slopes of the Chalosse. This rural area, at the crossroads of Landes and Dax influences, offers a pleasant setting for a flea market day. Its proximity to Dax (5 km away) ensures a significant visitor base while preserving the village atmosphere of the event.
The Mées car boot sale returns on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in the village center. Hunt for treasures among individuals at the gates of Dax.
