Mées, a small village of about 1,800 inhabitants located a few kilometers south of Dax, organizes its car boot sale every year. This event, rooted in the tradition of Landes village flea markets, brings together residents and treasure hunters from the surrounding area for a day focused on conviviality and second-hand goods.

The Mées car boot sale mainly attracts residents from the village and the Dax agglomeration. The exhibitors, all individuals, offer treasures from their attics and cellars: old tableware, books, toys, clothes, garden tools, and various trinkets. Prices are modest, and bargaining is done in good spirits.

Mées, Between the Adour and the Barthes

The commune of Mées is located in the Adour plain, between the湿地 barthes and the first slopes of the Chalosse. This rural area, at the crossroads of Landes and Dax influences, offers a pleasant setting for a flea market day.
