On May 25, 2026, Whit Monday, Peillonnex celebrates one of its annual highlights with the Horse Festival, accompanied by a large flea market. From 9am to 6pm, the village center transforms into a festive venue combining equestrian passion and bargain hunting.
The Horse Festival features equestrian demonstrations, pony rides for children and breed presentations, recalling the central role of the horse in the agricultural history of mountain villages.
Alongside equestrian activities, the flea market offers a chance to find second-hand treasures: clothing, toys, books, tableware, gardening equipment and equestrian gear.
Peillonnex is a charming village between Viuz-en-Sallaz and Bonneville, on the foothills of the Brasses massif, with views of the Môle and Arve valley.
