Gonfaron Flea Market (May)

A second spring meet

Following the success of its April flea market, Gonfaron's Festivities Committee schedules another meet on the third Saturday of May to extend the chiners' season. The central Place de la Victoire comes alive with about fifty private stands.

What you will find

The May edition benefits from the big spring clean: more seasonal clothes, more gardening items, more outdoor toys. You will also find classic Provencal flea market items - old books, knick-knacks, crockery, small decor, tools, vinyl records.

Gonfaron's charm in spring

In mid-May, Gonfaron benefits from exceptional light. The Maures scrubland is still green, gardens overflow with roses and laurels, storks nest on roofs.

An event serving the village

The entirely voluntary Festivities Committee uses the flea market and refreshment stand proceeds to fund summer festivities: Saint-Quinis patron festival in June, popular balls, night entertainment.

Combine chining and discovery

After the morning on the square, visitors can head to the Tortoise Village - a few minutes from the centre - to discover the sanctuary dedicated to Hermann's tortoises.
