Annual car boot sale with about 50 exhibitors in the Bresse region of Ain
The Confrançon car boot sale brings together about 50 private exhibitors each year in the center of the village. This spring event is a popular gathering for the inhabitants of the Bresse region of Ain and surrounding towns. The atmosphere is relaxed and family-friendly, conducive to strolling among the stalls.
Confrançon is a rural commune in the Bresse region of Ain, located on the road between Bourg-en-Bresse and Mâcon. The village, with its traditional Bressan farms and agricultural land, offers a typical landscape of this region renowned for its gastronomy (Bresse chicken, cream, and butter). The commune benefits from a peaceful living environment away from major roads.
The car boot sale is held outdoors in the village center on the 2nd Sunday of May. Entry is free for visitors. Private exhibitors offer a wide variety of items: furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, books, and trinkets. A refreshment stand is available on site.
From Bourg-en-Bresse, take the D975 towards Mâcon, then turn towards Confrançon (about 15 minutes). From Mâcon, follow the D975 towards Bourg-en-Bresse.
Free parking in the village.
