The Chedde car boot sale takes place twice a year — May 1 and September 13 — at the former football ground in Chedde, Passy, Haute-Savoie. This major event in the Arve valley attracts 200 to 300 sellers from 8:30am to 6pm, with pitches at €5 per linear meter. A must for bargain hunters in the Mont Blanc area, in a splendid mountain setting between Sallanches and Saint-Gervais.

The great Chedde car boot sale in Passy

Twice a year, the former Chedde football ground transforms into a vast open-air flea market in the heart of Passy. The Chedde car boot sale is one of the largest in the Arve valley, attracting between 200 and 300 sellers on May 1 and September 13, 2026.

A major event for bargain hunters

From 8:30am to 6pm, the huge former stadium hosts hundreds of stalls with a vast range of items: antique furniture, tableware and glassware, vintage clothing, books and vinyl records, collectible toys, tools, mountain equipment and countless curiosities.

Affordable pitches

Sellers benefit from pitches at €5 per linear meter, an attractive rate that partly explains the event's success.
