The great Chedde car boot sale in Passy
Twice a year, the former Chedde football ground transforms into a vast open-air flea market in the heart of Passy. The Chedde car boot sale is one of the largest in the Arve valley, attracting between 200 and 300 sellers on May 1 and September 13, 2026.
A major event for bargain hunters
From 8:30am to 6pm, the huge former stadium hosts hundreds of stalls with a vast range of items: antique furniture, tableware and glassware, vintage clothing, books and vinyl records, collectible toys, tools, mountain equipment and countless curiosities.
Affordable pitches
Sellers benefit from pitches at €5 per linear meter, an attractive rate that partly explains the event's success.
Passy and the hamlet of Chedde
Chedde, a historic industrial hamlet of Passy, is located between Sallanches and Saint-Gervais-les-Bains, offering stunning views of Mont Blanc and the Fiz range.
