The car boot sale of the medieval village of Cagnotte
Cagnotte, a small village of barely 600 inhabitants nestled in the heart of the Pays d'Orthe in the south of the Landes, hosts its annual car boot sale at the village hall. This village, known for its listed pre-Romanesque abbey and its medieval heritage, offers a unique setting for a flea market day that attracts treasure hunters from the Adour valley and the Pays d'Orthe.
The event offers indoor pitches, in the village hall, and outdoor pitches. The prices, from €3 to €4 per linear meter, remain very accessible. The opening hours are generous, from 9 am to 7 pm, leaving visitors plenty of time to browse the stalls and find bargains. Exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer crockery, toys, clothes, books, and decorative items.
Cagnotte is one of the most picturesque villages in the south of the Landes. Its Benedictine abbey, founded in the 11th century, and its medieval streets make it a place steeped in history. The car boot sale is part of the lively life of this village which cultivates its heritage and traditions. After the treasure hunt, visitors can stroll through the village streets and discover this little-known architectural gem of the department.

From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Exhibitor setup from 6:00 am.
