Every late June, the COMIFET — Guibeville Fêtes Committee — organises its traditional annual car boot sale in the streets around the village town hall. This event is a highlight of associative and social life in Guibeville, one of the smallest villages in the Essonne Hurepoix with around 1,200 inhabitants. On Sunday 28 June 2026, between 40 and 80 private sellers take over the village streets to offer their treasures to neighbours, families and bargain hunters.

Clear rules for an authentic car boot sale

The COMIFET has established clear rules: no new items, no food for sale, private sellers only. The pitch fee is €5/m. Sellers may begin setting up from 6am. Registration: +33 1 64 90 49 98 (evenings, 7pm–9pm).

Guibeville, a small Hurepoix village with a rural identity

Guibeville is one of the smallest communes in the Essonne Hurepoix, with around 1,200 inhabitants. Located about 10 km from Arpajon and 15 km from Ris-Orangis, this agricultural village retains a clearly rural identity in a sector that is gradually becoming more suburban.
