The autumn flea market of the festival committee
The COF (Festival Committee) flea market of Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie returns on Sunday, 27 September 2026, Impasse de la Pompe at La Milonnière. An awaited back-to-school rendezvous for Vendée bocage bargain-hunters, between Montaigu and Les Herbiers. Free entry for visitors.
Saint-André-Goule-d'Oie's COF schedules its annual flea market on Sunday, 27 September 2026 at Impasse de la Pompe (La Milonnière), a pleasant rural setting. A late-summer date marking the start of community life after the holidays and extending the Vendée brocante season.
About 1,500 inhabitants, in Vendée's bocage. Medieval church, strong community life through an active COF. Name origin: likely a distortion of 'gueule d'oie' (goose mouth).
Mostly private sellers as is typical: clothing, toys, crockery, small furniture, books, decor. Occasional older brocante: tools, faïence, curios from bocage attics. Gentle prices, bargaining welcome.
September is perfect to clear sheds and attics after summer. Great for school supplies, autumn clothing, gently used toys. Friendly atmosphere with COF volunteers at bar and food.
Puy du Fou (Les Epesses, 15 min), Les Herbiers, medieval castle of Tiffauges.
