Beaurepaire, about 2,000 inhabitants in the Bocage Vendéen, 10 min from Les Herbiers, historic heart of Puy du Fou. The Sou des Écoles Laïques is the state-school parents' association, running various fundraising events each year for school trips, materials and educational projects.

The spring flea market is one of the association's big fundraising events. 2025 edition was Sunday 11 May 2025; a new 2026 edition is expected in May per annual rhythm (exact date TBC with association).
