Spring car boot sale in the village of Bésayes, Drôme
Bésayes is a small commune in the Drôme region located in the Isère plain, in the northwest of the department, a few kilometers from Romans-sur-Isère and Bourg-de-Péage. Its spring car boot sale in May is one of the popular events in this rural village, which comes alive for a day to welcome private sellers and visitors looking for bargains.
Clothes of all sizes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, small furniture, and everyday objects are offered by the inhabitants of the village and neighboring communes. The relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere of the Drôme countryside car boot sales is present, with tables stretching along the alleys and on the central square of the village.
The unique feature of Bésayes is that it organizes two car boot sales annually: one in spring in May, and the other in September. This biannual rhythm makes the village a regular stop for bargain hunters in the north of Drôme, who know they will always find a good hunting ground there throughout the seasons. This associative vitality testifies to the commitment of the inhabitants to the life of their commune.
