Bellou-en-Houlme is a small rural commune in Orne, nestled in the Norman bocage, between Flers and Briouze. This territory of lush meadows, hedgerows and sunken lanes embodies authentic Normandy. The village, crossed by the Houlme river, offers a peaceful and rural setting ideal for a day of outdoor treasure hunting.
La Chevallerie is a well-known spot for antique enthusiasts in Orne. Eric Bernier, a professional antique dealer, has set up his business there and organizes car boot sales open to both individuals and professionals. The outdoor pitches can accommodate up to 100 exhibitors, offering furniture, ornaments, crockery, old tools, books and everyday objects.
Access to the car boot sale is free for visitors. Exhibitors benefit from an attractive rate of €2 per linear meter. The site has parking, toilets, a refreshment stand and a catering area. Opening hours are from 7am to 6pm, allowing early risers to find the best deals at opening time.
