The May Car Boot Sale in Beauvallon

Every spring, Beauvallon welcomes its residents and flea market enthusiasts for its annual May car boot sale. About eighty private exhibitors take over the village square and surrounding streets to offer their second-hand items in a festive and relaxed atmosphere, typical of Drôme village fairs.

Clothes, toys, books, tableware, trinkets, tools, furniture, and curiosities of all kinds are displayed on dozens of linear meters of tables. Seasoned bargain hunters and Sunday strollers meet side by side to find a good deal, negotiate with neighbors, or simply stroll with the family.

Beauvallon, a Drôme village between the Rhône and the hills

Beauvallon is a commune in the Drôme department, part of the Valence Romans Agglo urban community. The village is located west of the department, a few kilometers from the Rhône plain, between Valence to the north and Montélimar to the south. This rural setting, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities, gives the May car boot sale its special atmosphere of an authentic village festival.
