Every May 1st, the APE (Parents' Association) of Bayac Naussannes Monsac organizes a car boot sale and plant market in the village of Bayac. This village perched above the Dordogne valley, between Lalinde and Bergerac, offers a picturesque setting for this spring event that attracts families from the area.

A double event: treasure hunting and gardening

The Bayac car boot sale is distinguished by its associated plant market, which allows amateur gardeners to buy plants, flowers, and shrubs in the heart of the planting season. The flea market stalls offer the usual variety of car boot sales: crockery, toys, books, clothes, trinkets, and decorative objects.

Bayac, a village of character on the Dordogne

Bayac is a village on the left bank of the Dordogne, located between Lalinde and Couze-et-Saint-Front, in an area rich in heritage and vineyards. The Château de Bayac, which overlooks the village, recalls the seigneurial history of this village. The surroundings offer beautiful walking opportunities along the river and in the Bergeracois wine hills.

An event for the school

The APE of Bayac Naussannes Monsac, which brings together families of students from the inter-municipal school, organizes this car boot sale to fund educational projects and school trips. The exhibitor fee of 2 euros per linear meter directly contributes to the financing of the school's activities.
