The Twinning Committee's Car Boot Sale

Every year in June, the Twinning Committee of Baron-sur-Odon organizes its annual car boot sale at the village sports field, at 4 Chemin des Fresnes. This event brings together about 60 exhibitors and is one of the highlights of the community life in this town in the Odon valley, a few kilometers southwest of Caen.

Baron-sur-Odon is a commune in Calvados located in the Odon Valley, a river that winds through the Norman countryside southwest of Caen. The village, which still bears the traces of the Battle of the Odon in June-July 1944, offers a green and peaceful setting. The sports field, an open and tree-lined space, is an ideal place to host the car boot sale in a relaxed atmosphere.

Special Attention for Exhibitors

The Twinning Committee is known for its hospitality towards exhibitors: coffee is offered in the morning upon arrival, a gesture appreciated by sellers who set up from 6:30 am. Pitches are available for €3.50 per linear meter or €15 for 5 meters with a car. Reservation is mandatory, by email or phone (preferably after 5 pm).

Catering and Village Spirit

The Twinning Committee volunteers provide catering and refreshments throughout the day. Food exhibitors are not allowed, which preserves the car boot sale spirit of the event. Admission is free for visitors.
