Community market of active locals, farmers, artisans and artists of the upper Var
On Sunday 12 April 2026, the 6A Association (Active, Agriculteurs, Artisans, Artistes, Associations, Animations) runs its spring flea market on the village square of Saint-Antonin-du-Var. From 9am to 5pm, this unique gathering brings together village forces and regional bargain hunters around local heritage and crafts. A friendly morning in the heart of the Provence Verte.
Saint-Antonin-du-Var, a small upper Var village between Draguignan and the Argens valley, keeps a marked Provençal authenticity. Its lively community life, driven by the 6A Association, feeds social bonds and highlights local actors: active locals, farmers, artisans, artists, associations and animations, as the acronym says.
The 12 April 2026 spring flea market unites these forces around a popular and authentic display where the human dimension prevails over simple commerce.
Beyond a classic flea market, the event draws on contributor diversity. You can find local terroir products from farmers, artisan creations (wood, ceramic, leather), village artist works alongside private sellers clearing their attics. A rich mix between farm market, brocante and art-craft exhibition.
About twenty minutes from Draguignan, Saint-Antonin keeps a discreet, authentic charm. Cobbled lanes, old fountains, small religious heritage and views of the Réal valley make it a refreshing stop away from tourist crowds. The commune is part of the Provence Verte, known for Côtes de Provence wines and gentle living.
The 6A Association has a vision beyond a one-off event: gather residents, promote local trades, encourage transmission between generations. The 12 April day fits this view with informal exchanges and occasional animations. Modest but loyal crowd, mostly locals and neighbouring villagers.
