Each summer, the village center of Saint-Germain-des-Prés comes alive for a festive weekend combining a flea market, car boot sale, and village festival. This friendly event offers a rich program: vintage car exhibition, live music, shows, entertainment, and a sound and light firework display to close.
A village in Périgord Vert
Saint-Germain-des-Prés is a commune in the Périgord Vert, located in the Loue valley, near Excideuil and Saint-Martial-d'Albarède. Sunday is dedicated to car boot sales with entertainment starting at 10:30 am: treasure hunt at 11:30 am, concert by the group “This way up” from 11:30 am to 4 pm, art exhibitions at the castle. The car boot sale spreads through the village streets, offering second-hand items, clothes, books, and trinkets.
Refreshments and food
A refreshment and food stand operates throughout the day. Entry is free for all visitors. The sound and light firework display beautifully concludes this festive weekend in the heart of Périgord Vert.

2026 edition of the flea market and village festival of Saint-Germain-des-Prés (Dordogne), organized by the Comité Associatif Germinois. The heart of the event, the flea market, takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, on the town hall square, open to private exhibitors from 6h and to bargain hunters from 8h to 17h30.
The Comité Associatif Germinois is organizing its village festival coupled with a flea market in Saint-Germain-des-Prés (24160), in Dordogne, on the weekend of July 25 and 26, 2026.
The flea market takes place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, on the town hall square (route du château). Pitches are offered to exhibitors at a rate of 2 € per linear meter, with setup from 6h and free coffee. Visitors are welcome from 8h to 17h30.
