Car boot sale and flea market of July 14th in Lézardrieux, at the heart of the National Day festivities
July 14th is a day of celebration in Lézardrieux, a small port town in Trégor nestled on the banks of the Trieux estuary, between Paimpol and Tréguier. The National Day is celebrated with great pomp, and a car boot sale flea market complements the program of festivities. Exhibitors set up their stalls in the village, offering visitors the opportunity to hunt for treasures between patriotic entertainment.
The day of July 14th in Lézardrieux is not just about the car boot sale. The festivities start in the morning and continue until late in the evening. The Amicale des Sapeurs-Pompiers actively participates in organizing the festivities, with a popular dance and spectacular fireworks launched from the marina. The car boot sale is thus part of a complete festive program that attracts visitors from all over Trégor and beyond.
Lézardrieux owes its fame to its suspension bridge over the Trieux and its marina frequented by sailors en route to the island of Bréhat. The village retains an authentic charm with its granite houses and flowery streets. Hunting for treasures here on July 14th means immersing yourself in the most authentic maritime Brittany, between popular traditions and strikingly beautiful estuary landscapes.
