The Vide du Village of Vaulx-Village
The Vide du Village of the Vaulx-Village Festival Committee is an annual event that perpetuates the festive tradition of the historic Vaulx-Village district — the historical heart of Vaulx-en-Velin. Every spring, the Festival Committee mobilises neighbourhood residents for a day of car boot sales and conviviality: clothing, toys, books, crockery, ornaments and decorative objects are traded on the pavements and squares of the village.

Vaulx-en-Velin is a commune in the Lyon metropolitan area, east of Lyon. Although well known as a new town of the 1970s-80s, it preserves a historic village core — Vaulx-Village — that has maintained its rural and picturesque character amid the intensive urbanisation of past decades.

8 € for 2 linear meters, then 4 € per additional meter (20 € deposit + photocopy of ID required). Registrations with the festival committee from May 26 to June 4, 2026.
