Swap meet of APEL Sainte-Thérèse & Saint-Michel in Rosporden, Finistère
Every year in March, the APEL (Association of Parents of Free Education) of the Sainte-Thérèse & Saint-Michel school group in Rosporden organizes its annual swap meet. This friendly and family event aims both to finance school and extracurricular activities and to offer the residents of Rosporden a quality flea market.
The Sainte-Thérèse Saint-Michel APEL swap meet highlights second-hand items: clothing for all ages, accessories, linens, shoes, bags, childcare items, books, and haberdashery find buyers in a spirit of responsible and supportive consumption. The association also has a shop offering its own items at attractive prices.
Admission is free for all visitors, making it an accessible event for all families in Rosporden and surrounding towns. The funds raised from stall fees and shop sales allow the APEL to finance school trips, educational projects, and the improvement of the living environment for the students of the Sainte-Thérèse & Saint-Michel school group.
Rosporden is a town of some 7,000 inhabitants in southern Finistère, about twenty kilometers east of Quimper. Its pond, its legends, and its abbey make it one of the most endearing towns in Cornouaille. The town has several schools, including the Sainte-Thérèse & Saint-Michel Catholic school group, whose APEL is a key player in local community life.
