The Châtaigneraie Children's Swap Meet
Every spring, the APE of the Châtaigneraie school organizes its special children and childcare swap meet within the La Châtaigneraie public nursery school, Rue Blaise Pascal in Ploemeur. Around 75 exhibitors offer second-hand items dedicated to the world of childhood: clothing, toys, childcare equipment, and maternity items.
Ploemeur, a large coastal town in Morbihan
With over 18,000 inhabitants, Ploemeur is the second-largest town in the Lorient agglomeration. Located between the ocean and the countryside, it offers a desirable living environment with its many beaches (Fort-Bloqué, Guidel, Anse du Stole) and remarkable natural heritage. The Keriel district, where the Châtaigneraie school is located, is a family-friendly residential area.
A solidarity and friendly event
The profits from this swap meet help finance school trips and projects for the school's children. On-site, APE volunteers offer homemade crepes, sandwiches, and drinks for a delicious break between finds.
