Every July, the FCP Football Club of Pont-l'Abbé organizes its big summer swap meet in Pont-l'Abbé, on the route de Saint-Jean-Trolimon in Poulleac'h, near the E.Leclerc supermarket. This popular event is one of the most important flea market events in the Pays Bigouden, with nearly 286 exhibitors in the 2024 season, demonstrating growing popularity and well-honed organization.

The FCP, a pillar of Bigouden football

The FCP — Football Club de Pont-l'Abbé — is the main football club in the capital of the Pays Bigouden. It brings together teams of all categories, from youth to veterans, and has been animating the sporting life of the region for many years. As with many Breton amateur clubs, organizing an annual swap meet is an essential source of funding that allows the club to cover its expenses: equipment, federal licenses, maintenance of material and facilities.

The event mobilizes club volunteers and generates a friendly atmosphere that goes beyond the simple commercial aspect: it is a gathering moment for the entire Bigouden community.

Nearly 300 exhibitors for a day of treasure hunting

The FCP swap meet is one of the largest events of its kind in South Finistère. With approximately 286 exhibitors in 2024, it offers a considerable selection of second-hand items: adult and children's clothing, toys, books, dishes, small appliances, furniture, decor, vinyl records, and all sorts of used items.

On-site, catering is provided: sausages, merguez, fries, crepes, and drinks allow you to refuel without leaving the aisles. The event takes place all day, attracting visitors from all over the Pays Bigouden and beyond.
